COVID-19: Update and Safety for the Public and Health Care Workers

Eric M. Genden, MD, MHCA, FACS, offers reassuring perspectives for the public concerning our increasing ability to treat COVID-19 successfully. He provides an understanding of the disease, who is at risk, and successful prevention strategies for daily life activities—such as accepting deliveries or going to the grocery store. Dr. Genden also discusses the spike in COVID-19 cases among health care workers during the initial phase of the outbreak, and how with proper safeguards in place, rates of infection are now decreasing.
