COVID-19: Information for Transgender Patients
Joshua Safer, MD, addresses the concerns of transgender patients about accessing care during COVID-19. He discusses ongoing medical needs, hormone therapy, postoperative care, and urgent care. He also discusses the specific mental health needs of transgender patients caused by stress related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Dr. Safer also looks ahead to the coming months as COVID-19 subsides.
