The Rehabilitation department at The Mount Sinai hospital was ranked No. 1 in New York State in Newsweek’s “America’s Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2022.” The Mount Sinai Hospital's Rehabilitation department was ranked No. 13 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. We offer comprehensive and coordinated services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our outpatient physician services are focused on rehabilitation medicine and interventional spine and sports medicine, with therapies offered by an interdisciplinary team, including neuropsychology, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and vocational counseling.
Mount Sinai’s Abilities Research Center (ARC) offers innovative and individualized therapy designed to achieve the highest possible level of function. The ARC draws on the work of our research program to offer the newest available technologies to our patients. With the introduction of new technologies, innovation, and policy reform, the landscape of health care is always changing. What is constant is our desire to improve the human condition.
