Despite the awareness that patients can suffer lasting symptoms after an acute condition, such as COVID-19, there are not many dedicated around the country addressing this phenomenon. The Rehabilitation Medicine and Human Performance Department at Mount Sinai has launched a new center targeting this field, finally granting patients with chronic symptoms an answer to their problems.
