The field of psychiatry is rapidly advancing, with next-generation treatments such as deep brain stimulation and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy becoming more mainstream—and patients are more savvy, engaged, and curious about their options. Frontiers in Psychiatric Treatment is a new webinar series designed to equip you with the latest knowledge about these advances through digestible, clinically relevant updates across an array of subspecialties.
For our February installment, James Murrough, MD, PhD [please hyperlink], will cover the latest advances in treating addiction including esketamine, deep brain stimulation, and more, with 15 minutes at the end for Q&A.
When: Monday, February 28, 3-4pm ET
Speaker: Dr. Murrough is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, and Director of Mount Sinai’s Depression and Anxiety Center for Discovery and Treatment (DAC), where he conducts clinical and translational research aimed at understanding the biological basis of mood and anxiety disorders. In addition, he is the Director of DAC’s Treatment-Resistant Depression Program for patients with depression who have not responded to conventional treatment methods. The program offers individualized treatment plans that may include cutting edge treatments like esketamine or neuromodulation therapies.
We look forward to seeing you there.
