MULTIPLE SPECIES OF coronavirus are known human pathogens and have been associated with diverse nervous system disorders. The observation of similar abnormalities in COVID-19 disease has raised concerns in the medical community that SARS-CoV-2, source of the current pandemic, may be neuroinvasive.
