Among our accomplishments:
- Recognition of the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report in its 2020-21 “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals” guidebook, with rankings in Diabetes & Endocrinology, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Nephrology, and Neurology & Neurosurgery;
- Recruitment of a Chief Operating Officer for the Kravis Children's Hospital and hospital-wide enhancements in quality and safety initiatives;
- Expansion of our Children's Heart Center with accreditation of our Adult Congenital Heart Disease Comprehensive Care Center, and alignment of our pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and pediatric cardiac ICU with the Mount Sinai Institute for Critical Care Medicine
- Continued strength in our extramural funding portfolio to more than $23 million in 2020
