Travis R. Ladner, MD, presents a series of cases during the Department of Neurosurgery’s monthly Spine Conference. This is followed by the Department’s first David and Audrey Kubie Lecture, featuring Nicholas Theodore, MD, FACS, FAANS, of Johns Hopkins Medicine, who presents “Engineering the Future of Spinal Surgery.” He discusses new technologies available to refine the art of neurosurgery and elevate the care provided to patients. He provides an overview of the major technological advances of the past, as well as a glimpse ahead to the future.
