Building Models of Complex Diseases at Mount Sinai
The Mount Sinai Center for Transformative Disease Modeling is leading efforts to integrate big data and biological networks to uncover new therapeutic targets for complex diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and cancer. Under the direction of Bin Zhang, PhD the Center uses advanced computational methods to develop disease network models that predict key molecular pathways and identify both novel and repurposed drug therapies. Their work spans a wide range of research areas, including deep learning, cancer genomics, and AI-driven drug discovery, positioning the Center at the cutting edge of precision medicine.
