Objectives
- Recognize the long-term cardiac complications of Kawasaki Disease, including presentations of ACS and MI
- Apply current strategies for risk assessment, imaging, and treatment of coronary sequelae in KD
- Acknowledge histopathology differences between atherosclerosis and Kawasaki disease-caused coronary artery injury
- Promote effective transition and multidisciplinary care through collaboration between pediatric and adult cardiologists
