Taking Retinal Imaging to the Cellular Level Helps Treat Intra-Retinal Diseases

Researchers at NYEE have developed a high-speed OCTA, which enables them to visualize high-speed blood flow within the choroid and capillaries, at a level never seen before. This high-resolution visualization provides a window on how blood vessels are structurally changing—an in-depth look that hopefully will also reveal how and when the disease starts, enabling treatment to begin at the earliest possible stage.
